Blue Moon

Never before had the full service nature of e-Moonlighting’s portfolio of marketing and design expertise been utilised than when we received the brief from Blue Triangle Sales & Marketing.

BlueTLogo150rgb

Blue Triangle is a training company specialising in high quality training for sales and marketing staff. As a start up business Blue Triangle had the usual requirements for a logo, stationery and website. The website required a flash ‘starburst’ intro and interactive sections.

Once the business was up and running early account wins for Blue Triangle included Shell UK, one of several ‘blue chip’ clients targeted by the company. As part of its work for Shell, Blue Triangle briefed e-Moonlighting to source a range of branded merchandise for use during the training courses. Lead times were very short but with the help of our established affiliates we were able to deliver.

Subsequent work has included the development of an e-brochure, e-newsletter, advice on online optimisation and the design of a ‘pitching’ brochure for a major presentation. Much of our work for Blue Triangle has been against tight deadlines, it’s the nature of their business, but with our extensive network of freelancers and suppliers along with our in-house team we have been able to provide a true full marketing service.

For more information on our work for Blue Triangle see our Blue Triangle case study.

Haven't got a website?

e-Monlighting understands that not every business requires a website, but for those who do, having a good website is imperative. We have put together some simple 'Do's & Don'ts' to help you define your website.

Do’s ‘n’ Don’ts for a website

Do

1. Have an easy to navigate website with clear contact details and offer several different methods of contact e.g. email, postal, telephone, etc.

2. Have a visually interesting website.

3. Use Google Adwords to get traffic onto your website.

4. Buy similar domain names to your own and forward the traffic to your actual domain name e.g. emoonlighting.co.uk to e-moonlighting.co.uk

5. Swap links with other suitable websites – this brings valuable traffic and improves your search engine ranking.

6. Think carefully what your website means to your business – is it your place of business, your shop window or a business development tool? Have your website developed accordingly.

Don’t

1. Go overboard on technology such as flash. This can make your website slow to upload with many visitors clicking off before they are on. Plus, you may not comply with disability reqirements.

2. Forget to update website regularly keeping it fresh, relevant & informative.

3. Expect immediate results from a search engine optimisation package – search engine rankings take time.

4. Go with a badly designed website.

5. Forget that the internet is truly international.

So if you think you need a website in today's environment email your website requirements to enquiries@e-Moonlighting.co.uk
